The Sustainable Energy for ALL (SEforALL) Global Forum aims to catalyze faster, broader progress on universal access to sustainable energy. The event will focus on a just and equitable energy transition that delivers climate progress while forging development opportunities for low- and middle-income countries (LMICs) and small island developing States (SIDS) by ending energy poverty.

The event will be co-hosted by SEforALL and the Government of Barbados. It will bring together a diverse group of energy stakeholders to take stock of progress towards implementing SDG 7 (affordable and clean energy) and provide an opportunity to develop new partnerships, spur new investment, and address challenges at the nexus of energy, climate, and development.

Originally scheduled from 4-6 June 2024, the meeting has been postponed until early 2025. On 22 May 2024, the co-hosts of the Global Forum, SEforALL and the Government of Barbados, issued a joint statement on the postponement. In it, the co-hosts indicate that the 2025 Fourum will convene on the theme, ‘Sustainable Energy for Equity, Security and Prosperity,’ focusing on catalyzing the actions and investment needed for countries to achieve their energy access, climate, and development goals.
