In the near term, over US$40 billion of investment is needed per annum for sub-Saharan Africa to address the energy gap hindering its economic growth. This event will bring together key policymakers, investors, financiers, independent power producers and technology providers to explore sub-Saharan Africa's solar energy infrastructure development for rural electrification and energy intensive industrial applications.
