This panel, convened by the Rights and Resources Initiative (RRI) and the Forest Peoples Programme (FPP), will discuss the role of the private sector and others in strengthening community land rights. The panel will address the disconnect between strong court decisions concerning community land rights and the lack of initiatives to exercise such rights on the ground.
