The African Development Bank (AfDB) and the International Food Policy Research Institute (IFPRI) are hosting a stakeholder consultation meeting to present and discuss the findings and recommendations of a study on agriculture biotechnology for Africa. It is expected that participants will prioritize key areas to be addressed, as well as identify and agree on roles, responsibilities and resources needed to enhance support for data collection, capacity building, renewed cooperation on biotechnology in the region, and outreach and communication to the public at large.
