The China Ecological Forum is hosting a special session, titled “Rio+20 and South-South Cooperation,” following the UN Conference on Sustainable Development (UNCSD, or Rio+20), and focused on the new opportunities and challenges in the post Rio+20 era for South-South cooperation, particularly cooperation between China and other developing countries. The session also aims to inspire the scientific community to enhance its support to informed decision making for green economy development in developing countries. Amina Mohamed, Deputy Executive Director of the UN Environment Programme (UNEP), will give a keynote speech.
