The IEA, in collaboration with the Asian Development Bank (ADB), is organizing the following workshops from 22-24 October 2012, in Manila, Philippines: training workshop on the recently launched IEA Energy Technology Perspectives and Smart Grids technology, on 22 October; and development workshop for the How2Guide for Smart Grids in Distribution Networks, on 23-24 October. These workshops will be followed by a training workshop on the grid integration of variable renewables (GIVAR) and the first development workshop for the “How2Guide for Wind Energy” project, on 24-25 October 2012.
