A seminar for Nordic and Baltic countries, on the theme “Drinking water and sanitation in a Nordic and Baltic perspective: common challenges and collaboration,” will be held on 7-8 November 2012. The seminar will discuss, inter alia: challenges and strategies for addressing issues related to drinking water, sanitation, and water management in the Nordic and Baltic countries; the UNECE/WHO-Europe Protocol on Water and Health; and the basis for closer Nordic/Baltic collaboration in the field of drinking water and sanitation. The seminar is organized by Norway's Ministry of Health and Care Services, in cooperation with the Nordic Council of Ministers. Interested participants must register to attend by 26 October 2012.
