This meeting is convened by the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and Mexico’s Ministry of Environment (SEMARNAT). It aims to advance cooperation on methane reductions, in the framework of the Methane to Markets Partnership. Ministers from participating countries are expected to reaffirm their commitment to strong global action on methane for an additional five years.
