IRENEC 2012 is organized by EUROSOLAR Turkey, the Turkish section of the European Association for Renewable Energies, and will serve as an international platform to discuss technical, economic and political aspects of a transition to 100% renewable energy. General topics of the conference include: renewable energy supply technologies; smart grid technologies; energy end use efficiency; energy policies; local self sufficiency; investment and financial models for renewable energy; capacity building; climate change mitigation and adaptation; and community power. The deadline for paper submissions is 15 April 2012.
