This biennial conference, organised by the European Science Foundation, the European Physical Society and the European Materials Research Society, brings together policymakers, scientists, researchers and private sector leaders to discuss the future of European energy systems, with a focus on environmental impacts, energy supply, industrial viability, and societal acceptance. The conference includes high-level keynote speakers, and symposia on: system aspects and sustainability; sciences for energy; primary energy conversion; energy networks and storage; and efficient end use of energy.
