Held jointly with the second regular session of the AU Conference of Energy Ministers of Africa, All-Africa Energy Week (AAEW) is being held under the theme “Renewable Energy for Sustainable Development: From potential to infrastructure services.” The AAEW will comprise of thematic sessions, including “stepping up hydropower development for regional integration,” “solar energy viability in Africa,” and “harnessing wind and geothermal potentials.” The AAEW will also host an investment forum to provide a platform for information exchange and partnerships between policy makers, as well as a technology exhibition.
