The SDG Partnership Symposium will take place under the theme, ‘Unleashing the Power of Multi-stakeholder Partnerships’. The event will launch a research report on the topic and invite participants to share experiences and identify actionable steps to drive multi-stakeholder partnerships.

The event is the culmination of an ongoing campaign by:

• the 2030 Agenda Partnership Accelerator, an initiative of the UN Department of Economic and Social Affairs (DESA) and the Partnering Initiative;
• Partnerships 2030, a project commissioned by the German Federal Ministry of Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and implemented by the Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ); and
• the Global Forum for National SDG Advisory Bodies.

The campaign aims to raise awareness and support governments and stakeholders to develop enabling factors for partnership that will develop, improve, and scale up multi-stakeholder partnerships in support of the SDGs and beyond.

APCO Worldwide is hosting the symposium, which is convening the evening before the SDG Summit.
