Science and Technology for Sustainable Development Goals

The Sustainable Development Solutions Network (SDSN) and UN Department of Economic and Social Affairs (DESA) will host an event, titled 'Science and Technology for Sustainable Development Goals,' for members of the UN General Assembly's (UNGA) Open Working Group (OWG) on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), at Columbia University in New York, US. The event will discuss the need for science-based and technology-based transformations, and opportunities for promoting these transformations through the SDGs. The event will be held in an informal setting to allow for maximum interaction. Speakers will include leading practitioners from science, business, and civil society. The event is open to all OWG members and their delegates.
