This resumed initial meeting of the Executive Committee (ExCom) of the Warsaw International Mechanism for Loss and Damage associated with Climate Change Impacts is continuing preparations of the draft two-year workplan of the Executive Committee for the implementation of the functions in accordance with decision 2/CP.19 (Warsaw international mechanism for loss and damage). The ExCom plans to present a preliminary draft workplan, with the aim of further consulting with observers on the proposed components of the workplan. The meeting will include extensive interactions between the ExCom and observers on this issue, with the objective of finalizing the workplan.
