Under the aegis of the SADC Secretariat, this regional forum has been organized in collaboration with the IUCN Regional Office for Southern Africa and USAID-FRAME. Participants will share lessons learned from the regional Community-Based Natural Resource Management assessment, assess the main challenges for Southern Africa Regional Programme (SRAP) implementation and adopt a sub-regional strategy for implementation of the UN Convention to Combat Desertification (UNCCD).
