Regional Forum on Sustainable Development in Latin America and the Caribbean

The Regional Sustainable Development Forum of the Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC) will take place in connection with the Commission's Committee of the Whole. Topics to be discussed include: the post-2015 development agenda: synergies between regional and global processes; and the role of the Regional Forum on Sustainable Development and its linkages with the High-level Political Forum on sustainable development (HLPF). The meeting will also provide an overview of sustainable development in Latin America and the Caribbean, including on: Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and national planning mechanisms; the measurement challenge; and means of implementation (information, participation, financing and technology).
