This regional workshop of the Energy and Climate Partnership of the Americas (ECPA), titled 'Promoting a Scientific Culture towards the Responsible Energy Use in Educational Environments,' will convene representatives of the Governments of Chile, Colombia, Mexico, Peru and Uruguay to: share methodologies and experiences in teaching energy efficiency as part of school curricula for promoting sustainable development; and learn about the implementation of scientific research programmes in school environments. The meeting will also hear on the Caribbean experience, through the Caribbean Energy Awareness and Education Programme (CEEAP).
