This preparatory meeting is being hosted by the German Federal Youth Council, with the support of the German Federal Environment Ministry, and in cooperation with Rio+twenties and the European Youth Forum. The meeting is targeted at official European youth delegations and youth NGO representatives attending the UN Conference on Sustainable Development (UNCSD, or Rio+20). It aims to prepare them to effectively participate in the Conference, inter alia, by helping them understand the state of negotiations, identify political priorities for advocacy work, and develop a lobby strategy.
