The Second annual 'Powering Africa: Tanzania' meeting, organized under the theme 'Accelerating the delivery of affordable and reliable power in Tanzania,' is targeted at African and international power sector experts, and will include the presence of senior officials from Tanzania's Ministry of Energy and Minerals and the country's national energy companies and regulator. Topics discussed will include: reform of public sector partnerships; prospects for renewable energy investment developers; and Tanzania's regional strategy for cooperation in power transmission and infrastructure.
