Poverty Reduction and Forests: Tenure, Market and Policy Reforms

The purpose of this conference is to: set an agenda for the next four to five years to ensure that forest management is contributing to poverty alleviation and livelihoods of those who depend on forests; identify the role of forests, forest communities, enterprises and administration in advancing poverty alleviation and economic development; and to strengthen existing and build new strategic networks of key stakeholders to advance tenure, market and policy reforms.
