The conference will focus on: assessing policies on the links between population dynamics and adaptation to the current and future impacts of climate change; how policy makers and the climate change community can benefit from and use population dynamics and data in planning for adaptation; and providing recommendations on the link between population dynamics and climate change adaptation to be submitted to the 16th session of the Conference of the Parties to the UNFCCC (COP 16).
