The policy dialogue links implementation of the Asian and Pacific Energy Forum (APEF) Plan of Action with national and regional actions, and the Sustainable Energy for All (SE4All) global initiative. The dialogue will engage governments and partners in discussing the APEF Implementation Support Mechanism, the APEF Energy Data & Policy Information Portal, and the Regional Energy Trends Report. Participants will exchange views on accelerating implementation of the APEF Plan of Action, including the integration of renewable energy in electricity systems, and the application of clean coal technologies in power generation. The dialogue is an annual event, following a decision of the first APEF that took place in Vladivostok in 2013. The first policy dialogue was held in December 2013.
