Placing Future Generations at the Centre of Long-Term Sustainability

The inter-generational dialogue themed, ‘Placing Future Generations at the Centre of Long-Term Sustainability,’ aims to build momentum on multilateralism and sustainable futures ahead of the SDG Summit in September. The event will approach sustainability through the lenses of inter-generational impact and consider how to strengthen long-term sustainability in a systematic way, including by discussing equity and solidarity among generations.

The SDG Lab and the Graduate Institute, Geneva are organizing the event in coordination with UN Geneva. The event is part of a dialogue series, ‘What’s Next,’ that aims to highlight new perspectives on the SDGs and long-term sustainability. This particular event focuses on the need to move beyond short-term mindsets to consider long-term sustainability in achieving the SDGs.
