The Pacific Soil Partnership, a Regional Soil Partnership (RSP) of the Global Soil Partnership (GSP), will be launched in Suva, Fiji, from 13-14 October. In addition to establishing the Pacific Soil Partnership and related components, the event will also: identify the region's soil priorities; chart the mechanisms for developing the region's implementation plan; and develop an understanding of optimal ways for implementation. The GSP is hosted by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the UN (FAO).
