The Secretariat of the Pacific Community (SPC) will convene the Pacific Regional Forestry Technical Meeting from 21-23 September 2011 in Nadi, Fiji. The objectives of the meeting are to: review the Pacific celebration of the International Year of Forests; present and discuss various emerging issues, challenges, opportunities and possible ways forward for Pacific forestry; launch the book and DVD on Pacific Forestry; and present awards and prizes to the winners.
