This Forum will provide a platform for senior policy experts, private sector leaders and government officials from Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) and partner countries to explore how countries can align policy goals to address water, energy and food reforms in a coherent way. Discussion will focus on promoting integrated policy making and understanding the long-term impacts of the nexus on growth; improving coherence between national, regional and local planning and priorities; promoting private sector investment in the nexus; and mainstreaming the nexus into the broader development agenda, particularly in the context of discussions on the post-2015 development agenda. The Forum will open with a high-level meeting of the Global Dialogue on Water Security and Sustainable Growth.
