The first in the series will address “Governance for Sustainability: Basic Tools, Principles and Stakeholder Roles,” and participants will discuss institutional structures, policies and procedures for good environmental governance, focusing on how to strengthen existing institutions and developing recommendations on implementing basic governance principles and improving relationships among stakeholders. Future dialogues will address: energy and climate change; integrated water resources management; biodiversity and sustainable land management; and risk management and environmental law.
