Bioversity International is co-organizing a seminar to explore practical approaches and solutions to nutrition and sustainability in Rome, Italy, together with the UN Standing Committee on Nutrition, the Food and Agriculture Organization of the UN (FAO), and the Governments of Malawi and Flanders. The seminar, 'Nutrition and Sustainability: A practical approach to integrating climate change, biodiversity and ecosystems, nutrition and health agendas,' will be held at FAO headquarters. The seminar will bring together some 300 scientists, policymakers, experts, students and practitioners to develop responses to countries' requests about “why?” and “how?” to link nutrition and sustainability, and to discuss the tradeoffs. Virtual participation is also welcome by contacting the UN Standing Committee on Nutrition Secretariat.
