The Ninth Comprehensive Africa Agriculture Development Programme (CAADP) Partnership Platform is being held under the theme “Sustaining the CAADP Momentum – from Decisions and Commitments to Implementation for Results for Impact”. The meeting will provide a platform for stakeholders to assess lessons and priorities to inform future priorities and practice as well as what options should inform the commitments to effect implementation, impacts and results. CAADP is the Continent’s main development programme to eliminate hunger and reduce poverty through agriculture. It seeks to raise agricultural productivity in Africa to at least 6%annually and requires African countries to commit at least 10% of their national budgets to agricultural development.
