The International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) is organizing an international conference on “New Directions for Smallholder Agriculture.” Papers presented at the conference will focus on regional diversities and the technical, financial and institutional environments that will determine their future. Participants will discuss how smallholders will adapt to accommodate a changing global environment. Participation is by invitation.
