The National Adaptation Plan (NAP) Expo 2024 will bring together a diversity of participants from parties to the UNFCCC and non-party stakeholders to exchange experiences and foster partnerships to advance NAPs. The NAP Expo aims to raise adaptation ambition by advancing the formulation and implementation of NAPs.
The NAP Expo is an annual outreach event organized by the Least Developed Countries (LDCs) Expert Group (LEG) under the UNFCCC, in collaboration with various bodies and organizations. NAP Expo 2024 is the ninth global NAP Expo since 2013.
The event will facilitate interaction between country NAP teams and providers of support, including the Green Climate Fund (GCF), the Global Environment Facility (GEF), and the Adaptation Fund, to enhance access to financing for NAPs. The Expo also serves as a platform to advance practical and technical measures to produce NAPs and promote their effective implementation.
