This seminar is organized by the National Network of Organizations for Renewable Energy (RENOVE), with support from the Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Partnership (REEEP), US Agency for International Development (USAID), the Avina Foundation and others. Under the theme “Renewable Energy and Eradication of Poverty,” the seminar is RENOVE's initiative to foster debate on distributed electricity and microgeneration in Brazil. At the end of the seminar RENOVE and the Avina Foundation will present their proposal to form a Latin American Platform for Universal Access to Renewable Energy.
