The purpose of the meeting is to discuss and agree on the following: organization of the coordination group work; facilitating preparation of the global monitoring report; and evaluation of the first phase of the global monitoring plan. The expected outputs include: outline, structure and content of the global monitoring report; timelines and responsibilities for its finalization; and a report to the Conference of the Parties.
