The second Mayors Summit of the Milan Urban Food Policy Pact (MUFPP) will bring together mayors from around the world to promote more environmentally-sound and fair food systems in urban areas. This gathering of mayors will include mayors of cities that are signatory cities to the Milan Urban Food Policy Pact, which aims to achieve healthy food for all, promote sustainability in the food system, educate the public about healthy eating and reduce waste. As of November 2015, 116 cities have signed the pact. The event will take place after the World Food Day ceremony.
