The Third EU Dialogue on linking sustainable consumption and economic growth will discuss the issues from the perspective of social and technological innovation, with the aim of supporting policy development and future research on sustainable innovation. It will address three themes: technological innovations and sustainability; innovation in the context of growth and de-growth; and social innovation and sustainable consumption/production (SCP). The EU Dialogue is part of the European Commission's RESPONDER project, which explores how knowledge brokerage can help improve management of the contradictions between economic growth and sustainable consumption.
