This side event will be held during the UN Conference on Sustainable Development (UNCSD, or Rio+20) and is being organized by the International Development Law Organisation (IDLO) and partners. Organized in the format of a “legal experts” roundtable, the event will highlight various national green economy laws, focusing on facilitating South-South knowledge sharing and developing practical green economy strategies. It will also include the launch of IDLO’s “Compendia of Legal Best Practices for Sustainable Development,” on key topics such as the green economy and sustainable water management.
