This side event is being organized by IBON International and the UN Non-Governmental Liaison Service (UN-NGLS) during the UN Conference on Sustainable Development (UNCSD, or Rio+20). It aims to provide a forum for interested stakeholders to: discuss and draw lessons from the implementation of the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs); examine the proposals for sustainable development goals (SDGs); and outline ideas for a transformative post-2015 development agenda.
