The task force organized by the International Union of Forest Research Organizations (IUFRO), in collaboration with other partners, will consider how globalization will impact forests, the consequences of increased reliance on plantations, the impacts of bio-products and advanced building systems on forests and forest research, and forest ecosystem services and their effect on communities and landscapes.
