Hosted by the Government of Malaysia in collaboration with TRAFFIC Southeast Asia, and organized by the International Tropical Timber Organization in cooperation with the CITES Secretariat, this expert meeting, which takes place under the auspices of the Tri-National Ramin Task Force, aims to offer concrete recommendations and follow-up action to ensure that the decision on the inclusion of Ramin in CITES Appendix II continues to be effectively implemented.
