In collaboration with Working Groups (WGs) I and II, WG III will hold a workshop in order to facilitate a new generation of emission scenarios as part of the Fifth Assessment cycle. While the process of new scenario development is coordinated by the research community, the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) plays a catalyzing role in scenario development and assesses the results. http://www.ipcc-wg3.de/activity/expert-meetings-and-workshops
