This side event will be held during the UN Conference on Sustainable Development (UNCSD, or Rio+20), hosted by the International Centre for Trade and Sustainable Development (ICTSD), during the Trade and Sustainable Development Symposium. The event will focus on the progress and challenges for sustainable development in international trade law, and address how sustainable development principles are being reflected in the practices of the World Trade Organization (WTO) and new regional trade agreements.
