The UN Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP), the Seoul Metropolitan Government, and CityNet will jointly host this three-day international forum, which will discuss how to facilitate and support cities in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), in particular Goal 11 on sustainable cities. The Forum will: share experiences in sustainable urban development; share urban policy examples on areas including urban planning, transportation, water management, environment and climate change, housing, e-government, and safer cities; explore opportunities for regional and international cooperation to support implementation, follow-up and review; and present and discuss the concept of an Urban SDG Knowledge Sharing Platform. Discussions will take place on the first two days of the Forum, while field trips will take place on the third day.
