International Forum for Sustainable Asia and the Pacific (ISAP) 2015

The 2015 edition of the International Forum for Sustainable Asia and the Pacific (ISAP2015) will be held under the theme 'Solutions for Change: Forging Multi-Stakeholder Partnerships towards 2030'. The two-day Forum will focus on creating cross-sectoral and multi-level partnerships to meet the sustainable development goals (SDGs) and climate change targets as one overarching goal. Plenary sessions will consider the development of the goals and targets for adoption of the post-2015 development agenda and for a 2015 climate change agreement, including ways to bridge the two processes. Parallel sessions will cover a range of related topics, from technology transfer and international scientific cooperation to waste management and the role of cities. The event is being co-organized by the UN University Institute for the Advanced Study of Sustainability (UNU-IAS) and the Institute for Global Environmental Strategies (IGES).
