The International Expert Group Meeting (EGM) on the implementation of Article 42 of the UN Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples, will convene from 14-16 January 2009 at UN Headquarters in New York, US. The EGM will be attended by indigenous experts and UNPFII members as well as interested Member States, UN Agencies and Indigenous Peoples’ Organizations.
