The objective of this conference is to examine the scientific basis for forest landscape restoration and its linkages to practice and policy. Forest Landscape Restoration is a process that aims to balance trade-offs between and improve ecological integrity and human well-being in degraded or deforested forest landscapes by fostering appropriate forms of restoration at strategically chosen locations.
