International Conference on Education for a Sustainable Future: Shaping the practical role of higher education in Sustainable development
This conference will focus on themes that frame the current global debate on education for sustainable development within the multilateral agencies of the UN system. It will consider: how universities can contribute to achieving the Millennium Development Goals; how the Global Higher Education for Sustainability Partnership (GHESP) can contribute to the WSSD outcomes; how innovative methods of education can contribute to education for a sustainable future; and the role for higher education institutions in the UN Decade of Education for Sustainable Development.
