This meeting will be the fifth Annual General meeting of the Intergovernmental Forum on Mining, Minerals, Metals and Sustainable Development. The Intergovernmental Forum is the institutional framework for the Global Dialogue on Mining/Metals and Sustainable Development, which is a partnership initiative that was launched at the World Summit on Sustainable Development (WSSD) in 2002.
