The Food and Agriculture Organization of the UN (FAO) and Wageningen UR are convening a global conference on insects as a source of food and feed in order to build a better understanding of the state of knowledge on the more than 1900 species currently used, identify obstacles to expanded use, and build awareness and partnerships for further exploitation of insects for food and feed.
