This informal ministerial consultation is being organized by the Poland’s Minister of Environment, Maciej Nowicki, in his capacity as UNFCCC COP 14 President. The consultation will take place on the margins of the high-level segment of the 17th session of the Commission for Sustainable Development (CSD). The consultations will be held from 6:00-8:30 pm and will consist of two thematic panels followed by a political summary with key findings. The identified topics for the panels are: climate change and food security; and adaptation needs in land use, land-use change and forestry (LULUCF).
