Implementing Smart Policies with the Clean Energy Solutions Center

This side-event during the UN Conference on Sustainable Development (UNCSD or Rio+20) will bring together representative from government, the private sector, and international organizations to discuss ways in which the Clean Energy Solutions Center of the Clean Energy Ministerial (CEM) can assist governments with the design and implementation of clean energy policies and programs. Speakers will include: Rick Duke, Deputy Assistant Secretary for Climate Policy, U.S. Department of Energy; Michael Liebreich, Bloomberg New Energy Finance; John Mollet, International Copper Association; and Kandeh Yumkella, Director General of the UN Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO).
